Alors que la célèbre (et mieux payée) actrice de Bollywood Aishwarya Rai s'apprêtait à être faite hier Chevalière de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettre par l'Ambassadeur de France à New Delhi, 3 explosions retentissent à Bombay, faisant 21 morts.
L'actrice demande donc à la France de repousser l'évènement (elle avait déjà décliné l'honneur en 2008 pour cause de problèmes de santé de son père).
D'ailleurs au moment où je complète ce post, la réception de la fête nationale à l'ambassade est passée, et nous avons également eu droit à la minute de silence et l'annulation du bal en compassion pour les familles des victimes de l'attentat.

Article de India Today:Bollywood fraternity, including actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, expressed shock over the three blasts in Mumbai on Wednesday evening.
"We are very shocked with the news of the blast. Our prayers are with the people affected. It is important for us Indians to stand strong and tell the perpetrators of terrorism that they cannot shake us. We believe that justice will be done. We pray for the victims and their families," said Aishwarya.
The 37-year-old actress was in the national capital with husband Abhishek Bachchan to accept the honour Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters from the French government. But the ceremony was postponed after the news of the blast broke.
"This isn't the time to celebrate. Me and my family felt it was correct to request the French ambassador to postpone the ceremony to some other time," said Aishwarya.
The honour was conferred to the actress in 2008, but she couldn't accept it then due to some personal problems.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was also in the capital for the award ceremony, did not attend it after the tragic news broke.
"Bomb blasts in Mumbai.. !! God ! I hope people are safe !!" he tweeted. Other filmmakers and actors also tweeted to express their shock over the incident and sympathies for the victims.
